Record of René Metge
Acknowledged by his peers as one of the most talented drivers in his generation, René Metge has experienced every success. Whether in cars or trucks, on circuits on tracks, he has donned the winner's cap more than once during his long professional driving career. In 1987, René Metge took over the technico sports management of the Paris-Alger-Dakar. Four years later, he launched the Harricana snowscooter raid in Canada and then became the organiser of the first Paris-Moscow-Peking. Today, at the head of the Master Rallye, René Metge has not forgotten his first loves and sometimes returns, just for a week-end, to the thrills of racing.
