From 27 July to 6 August, the MASTER RALLYE 2000 will take competitors and other adventure enthusiasts over a totally unprecedented trace, between Paris and Istanbul. The " Old Continent " will welcome this new edition throughout a course of approximately 5 000 Km (including 2 500 Km of specials) taking part in the International Automobile Federation Off-road World Cup.

The length of the MASTER RALLYE, reduced to 10 days, is a real strategic choice made by René METGE. However, he remains true to the philosophy of this event which combines the surpassing of one's self and the discovery of rare destinations and exclusive courses on which drivers and riders accomplish genuine sportive and human feats.

At the dawn of the third millennium, the MASTER RALLYE 2000 announces several innovations: the assistance course totally accessible to 2-wheel drive vehicles (100% asphalt), a new " Gentlemen " category open to motorcycles and quads, allowing 2 riders to take turns on the same machine changing every 200 Km at the refuelling point.

And above all, a new really competitive tariff chart. For example, by entering prior to 31/12/99, a Motorcyclist will be able to compete in the MASTER RALLYE for 16 500 FF; in Car/Truck or Raid categories, the entry will amount to only 17 500 FF !

The MASTER RAID will be extended for the edition 2000. On a parallel with the race, all lovers of far-off horizons will be able to share, in privileged style, 10 days of the lives of the greatest Off-Road drivers and riders.

New very attractive tariffs, an unprecedented European course and a competition combining human and cultural adventure, should enable the MASTER RALLYE organisation to allow this new look at the race to be shared by the greatest number of persons; from the banks of the Seine to the shores of the Bosphorus...
